Change is on its way and everyone wants to be a part of it. Alternative Power Construction wants to help fuel that change. President-elect Obama has a plan, T. Boone Pickens has a plan, Al Gore has a plan - everyone seems to have a plan for our energy future.  As contractors, municipalities, and owners, What are your plans ? We want to help you, the ones responsible for financing, building and implementing our power future. Should Power supply be public, or private ? What has your facility done recently to implement power savings ? There are big ideas and small ideas, what we need now are a lot of ideas on powering our future, so we can come up with best. Please use this blog to help share your ideas.

Scott; Thanks for the nice comments. There is a lot of info in the marketplace about alternative energy, but there is a missing link--how do we build alternative energy facilities. That is where APC will fill the gap. We will present how you construct a wind farm, what it takes to build a solar installation, how do you tie in to a power grid, what about the legal, ecological, and environmental issues, etc. In the first half of 2009 APC will be totally web-based with bi-weekly e-newsletters and a jam packed web site. In the second half, pls look for a bi-monthly magazine. We are anxious to get feedback from our readers, so pls don't be shy in letting us have your comments--good and bad.

I dont have a problem with private money constructing wind farms and selling energy to the public, as long as the pricing is competitve. I do have a problem if they purchase the materials out of the US though.
We need to manufacture windmills in the United States !!!
